3rd UDP Diaspora Convention — London

Venue: The Grove Banqueting Hall, 1 Faringdon Avenue, Faringdon Grove, Romford, RM3 8TD, Essex, England.
Join UDP members, community leaders, dignitaries and guests from across Europe, Africa, Canada, Asia and the USA for keynote addresses, policy discussions, networking, youth and women’s participation, cultural entertainment, fundraising and mobilisation for 2026.
GASH Chapter Fundraising — Basel

The UDP GASH Chapter welcomes comrades and supporters for a vibrant fundraising gathering following the London convention. The event will bring together members and friends of the party in support of the UDP’s 2026 programme.

We would also like to extend an invitation to all media organisations and their representatives within both countries, and in the surrounding regions, to attend and report on these events.
Both gatherings aim to unite members of the UDP Diaspora, community leaders, esteemed dignitaries and distinguished guests for moments characterised by insightful discussions, professional networking, and a celebration of our collective heritage, values and aspirations for the nation’s future. The convention agenda will include keynote addresses, interactive panel discussions, cultural showcases, and exclusive opportunities for interviews and media coverage.
As we draw closer to the historic election of 2026, this is an opportunity for active participation from all Gambians regardless of party affiliation.
Your presence will be instrumental in amplifying the diverse voices and narratives within our community, and we cordially invite you to be part of these historic occasions, which will be graced by H.E. A.N.M. Ousainu Darboe, Secretary General, Party Leader and flag bearer for the United Democratic Party (UDP), as Chief Guest of Honour.
